Unfortunately, I had less time in London to sketch but enjoyed sitting in one of the Tate Moderns many veiwing couches situated on each floor.

This is
the last postcard I made overseas. I arrived back in London the day before
flying back home from Heathrow Airport. While in a shopping district, I found
that every underground station entrance had at least 2 and sometimes as many
as 4 police officers stationed. I was impressed at how at-ease the Londoners
seemed and how remarkable the city functioned after the bombings. We were
fortunate to have missed both tragic events in London, having arrived and
departed the city in between each occurrance. By this final day in the UK,
all the underground lines were up and running.
... also, I found the yellow safety coats the police wore to be just the perfect match to use the highlighter marker I had carried all the way from home. Ahhhh, closure.
