As I often approach my work as a collector and consumer, I have found more often that the cataloging and presentation of products became as intriguing and amusing as the products themselves.

This series of (33+) drawings was created from direct reference to a gift shop supply catalog.I created a collection of small drawings titled "America’s Fascination with Quantity and Thrift". Text and prices are included from the actual catalog (circa 2000).

I figure the economic use of line with cheap dollar-store pens retains the level of craft in mass produced objects of questionable worth.
