Caramel Creams (3)

Caramel Creams (3), original artwork by Mike Geno

A second small painting of a childhood food memory. Visiting my Aunt Trudy as a kid, I always remembered these being given to me at her house. I cannot see them without thinking of her so this and the previous "Caramel Cream" painting are both tributes to the fond memory of her.

I enjoyed painting these as a small group and think I could easily do a few dozen if I wanted to get lost in caramel creams!

The Goetze's Candy Company (pronounced gets) is based in Baltimore, Maryland. They were first established in 1895. In 1917 they first created the "Chu-ees" which evolved into this signature candy, also known as Bull's Eyes.
