This cheese portrait is of a wedge of Manchego, the most important and well-known sheep’s milk cheese in Spain.
Madame Fromage donated it to the cause (my ongoing series of cheese portraits) and I loved the translucent gradation of color as the light came through from behind this classic Spanish cheese.
