"Shropshire Blue Wedge" the third time I painted this beautiful blue. This mellow blue cheese is made by the Colston Bassett Dairy in the UK. It has a creamy texture and is colored by the addition of annatto, a natural vegetable dye.

There's only a limited supply of this hand-made ornament featuring images of original cheese portrait paintings. Full color image adhered by hand to 1/8" birch wood and cut with laser cutter. Each comes ready-to-hang with satin ribbon and is hand signed by the artist. Great for the holidays or all year long.

This cheese has three available archival, ready-to-frame matted prints on my site; and make a great paired gift!
