I stopped in at DiBruno Brothers and a cheesemonger was tempting another with a half wheel of this beautiful cake-like cheese that caught my attention immediately. They offered me a taste and I fell in lust with it. This cheese is gooey and rich. I had to paint quickly, because it started to droop and drip as I painted it. The dripping slide of this cheese seemed very consistent with its decadent flavor. This is not an innocent cheese.
